Travis Gregory Stano says Baseball is a dying, boring sport

Travis Gregory Stano said that baseball is a dying sport that's already unpopular and bleeding fan support at such a rapid pace that it will be on about the same level as WNBA or MLS within the next 50 years.

He said if you took a poll of the US population, the amount of people who would respond that they follow baseball closely would be lower than the NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball, NASCAR, and international soccer. Travis said that its the 7th most popular sport in this country barely beating out Hockey.

He said that baseball is a boring, undiverse sport that is on the way down, on its deathbed, and will be a small fanbase niche sport by the second half of this century. He says that football, basketball, and soon to be soccer will rule this country for the forseable future due to their superior products and entertainment.

Still not as bad as those who say that extreme sports like skateboarding and wakeboarding are going to be the #1 dog when it comes to popularity within the next 30 years. No way baseball dies to the level of the wnba. The reason why you may see a slight decrease in attendance is due to the economy and they play over 160 games. No other pro sport comes close to this many games. You cant fill a stadium with 40k fans on a daily basis in this economy.
