    Mayweather Starts His Jail Sentence
LAS VEGAS — Free time is about to run out for Floyd Mayweather Jr., who is due to begin a three-month jail sentence in Las Vegas stemming from a hair-pulling, arm-twisting attack in September 2010 on the mother of three of his children.

Allowed one hour of exercise per day according to ESPN.

Not sure, but what are the odds he's the same fighter once he gets out?

Only allowed one hour of exercise per day.

          Are you really that stupid?

He will not be tied up the other 23 hours.

He could do sit ups and push ups for the other 23 hours each day and be in the best shape of his life.

            Possibly.

He can also have his life threatened by the inmates and hide in his cell 24/7 too.

he definitely wont lose his conditioning. tyson did 3 years and came out in better shape that when he went in. the big question is, will he agree to fight pacquiao in november?

dont ask stupid questions man.....it has nothing to do with floyd......follow bob arums actions/words/quotes directly after pac/jmm 3....he wanted no part of it....just like he wanted no part of it when they first started talking about it....he had the josh clottey fight in his back pocket for cowboys stadium......drug testing was a huge issue then....now they claim its not an issue...lolol

You don't get to the top of the mountain without being incredibly mentally strong.

As far as physically, he'll be fine. He doesn't smoke, drink, and will be able to do all the pushups or situps he wants, plus the hour of official exercise. Hopefully he comes out feeling refreshed and perhaps willing to make more of a concession to make the Pac fight happen. I also question whether Pac is even willing to fight.

As if Floyd wasn't going to be in solitary or something along those lines the whole time anyway...

He will stay in protective custody to avoid the other inmates. He is a master fight ducker, just ask Manny.

it is the dream fight....but floyd can still make tons of money elsewhere.......a khan fight would still draw interest(especially now that peterson tested positive)...floyd could really turn on the juice by going over to the UK for the fight(they actually like him alot over there)....it would be huge.......he could still set up a canelo fight.....not to mention sergio martinez is still alive.....theres options

To be fair, I think Manny is more than willing but not if he perceives his share is unfair.

Floyd wanting all the PPV money is certainly not fair, I think we can agree on that.

He will be in solitary which will afford him 1 hour of daily rec outside his cell. Guys in jail would love to cheap shot KO him just for the story/laugh.

To be fair, I think Manny is more than willing but not if he perceives his share is unfair.
Let's see if he comes close to sniffing 1.5M PPV buys on June 9th before continuing this.

Well, Timothy Bradley isn't the draw Miguel Cotto is so I don't see how that can be compared.

bradley is not as big as an underdog as i thought he would be at +350.

                                                    Bradley is undefeated. Like Floyd.

As far as physically, he'll be fine. He doesn't smoke, drink, and will be able to do all the pushups or situps he wants, plus the hour of official exercise. Hopefully he comes out feeling refreshed and perhaps willing to make more of a concession to make the Pac fight happen. I also question whether Pac is even willing to fight.
lou...its like this....floyd aint scared....manny would prob take the fight.....but then you have bob arum

                                                      lets look at facts

oscar de la hoya leaves top rank/bob arum and starts his own promotional company(which becomes arums chief rival).....oscar is a megastar and ppv record breaker......

floyd asks arum to start promoting him differently....he wants to tap the urban audience...arum wants to promote him as the all american kid with out of this world skills....floyd tells him he wants a fight with oscar...arum says the fight wont sell and hell lose money....so floyd buys out his top rank contract for 700k...he gets the oscar fight and breaks ppv records....and continues to break ppv records and become a megastar...not to mention floyd has the most fighter friendly deal in the game

two figthers leave arums company to become megastars on their own....they show fighters that they can do it on their own without promoters getting in their pockets and taking their hard earned money.....they showed fighters that they can empower themselves.....then you realize that both of these guys have a business relationship that is mutually beneficial

and then there is bitter/vindictive bob arum....who has now spent years making a new star because the other guys he had groomed have left....he let pac fight oscar at 147 because he knew oscar hadnt fought at 147 in years and was a dead man walking.....but he also knows that floyd would be the favortie....and floyd is the most complete fighter in the game....and hes a bad style matchup for pac......hes not about to let all the hardwork hes done, cultivating a new cash cow, get ruined by a guy who left him .......hes not going to let pacs earning power drop unless his oompany has the conqueror under contract....thats just who bob arum is
