Rondo will always take a backseat on some people's lists because he's a playmaker rather than a shooter. How many triple doubles has the guy gotten this season? 7? 8? The next guy in line has 2 at the most.

Chris Paul is great but Rondo is old school $$$. Motherfukker can run a mean play

Pretty sure that tonights stat wasn't the only record he set this year either

the thing that irks me about Rondo is his motivation and stat whoring...like you can tell from the first 5 mins of the game if he's going to get a triple double. If he gets a couple rebounds early, he'll crash boards for the rest of the game.

Tonight I was screaming at the TV for him to shoot, he was feeling it and any NBA player can hit a standstill wide open 3 pointer 60% of the time.

His shot has been money and he certainly has been carrying the team. Boston really had everyone going last game except KG maybe.. and Rondo had 40 something points? Not a good sign for Boston, especially when lebrons like 6-18

2010-2011 Rondo had 5 games of 10+ rebounds, 4 games with rebounds between 7-9

There's a reason why like 80% of Rondo's triple double occur on national TV. He plays like he gives a damn when it's an important game. Makes me respect guys like KG who make 20+M a year and bring it every night.

I love Rondo's game, but if you don't think his energy level fluctuates game to game you are a big time homer.
