I can cite examples until the cows come home.
Let's start with CBS and Dan Rather.
Rather's hatred for the republican party, and total hatred for George Bush cost him his career, and any integrity he had.
Rather's hatred for Bush blinded his judgement.
Remember what he said on CBS?
Last week, amid increasing questions about the authenticity of documents used in support of a 60 MINUTES WEDNESDAY story about President Bush's time in the Texas Air National Guard, CBS News vowed to re-examine the documents in question -- and their source -- vigorously. And we promised that we would let the American public know what this examination turned up, whatever the outcome. Now, after extensive additional interviews, I no longer have the confidence in these documents that would allow us to continue vouching for them journalistically. I find we have been misled on the key question of how our source for the documents came into possession of these papers. That, combined with some of the questions that have been raised in public and in the press, leads me to a point where -- if I knew then what I know now -- I would not have gone ahead with the story as it was aired, and I certainly would not have used the documents in question. But we did use the documents. We made a mistake in judgment, and for that I am sorry. It was an error that was made, however, in good faith and in the spirit of trying to carry on a CBS News tradition of investigative reporting without fear or favoritism. Please know that nothing is more important to us than people's trust in our ability and our commitment to report fairly and truthfully.
Staying with CBS.
Walter Cronkite:
He's even on record of saying he reported the news with a bias.
CBS and the 1960 Kennedy / Nixon debate 70 million viewers.
Don Hewitt (yes that Don Hewitt) purposely shot Kennedy in a favorable light, instructed lighting director Imero Fiorentino shoot close ups of Nixon's bad side.
(this information is all out there)
Hewitt then said after that debate :
"We don't have to wait until election day, tonight we elected the president (Kennedy) and you all saw it on television.
Howard K Smith (then of CBS) who later was the ABC national news reporter was the moderator of those debates, fed Kennedy softballs...
The laundry list of how CBS of how biased is toward the left wing is endless.
Do we even have to go into 60 minutes.
When the rumors of the Bill Clinton / Monica Lewinsky scandal was brewing, ABC, NY Times and other left wing media outlets knew it was fact.
Chose to sweep it under the rug, they did not want the face of the democratic party (Clinton) being dragged through the mud.
Matt Drudge, the internet news pioneer also had to story, was the only one with the balls to break the story.
*fact* Matt Drudge is the only person ever to be sued (unsuccessfully) by the White House, because he broke that story.
Yet another example of left wing media biased.
I can continue all day, but I need to go to work.
Know why the left wing hates Fox News and Rush and others?
Because they are exposing what the left wing media (CBS, NY Times, and others) have gotten away with for over a half a century.

fox news talking points are substance???
