If you don't think the draft lotto is fixed watch the 1985/Ewing lottery on youtube. There are at least 4 very suspicious things that take place-1. The Knicks envelope has a big bent corner 2. Stern reaches into to the tube and fumbles around looking for said envelope 3. He then TURNS HIS HEAD for all 7 remaining envelopes to appear to be on the up and up. 4. Stern is so nervous he blows out such a huge exhale right before he digs for the first envelope to the point his cheeks blow up.
My question is if it isn't fixed why doesn't the NBA allow us to see the actual lottery take place anymore? The logical answer would be who wants to watch ping pong balls--but have you seen the stuff they put on the NBA Network? They have developmental league games and a weekly show discussing different referees calls and with a retired NBA ref talking about those calls. Although they only do that show for the regular season of course. There is no way in the world they would ever want to explain the calls they pull out of their butts for the playoffs.
