They are profitable, these places are packed on weekends and from 5pm through the week when people clock off from work.

They are all different sizes and setups, this one is detached from the bar. Most of them are with a bar and lounges, pool tables etc....

The best guide on buying a TAB would be the western australian TAB's (ozbet) as they list them online but the other states you will have to inquire directly to them. Here is the WA listings for sale with prices http://www.tabsforsale.com.au/content/230.htm also shows annual commission

On the ticket you can cross out up to 1,000 or 2,000 then if you want to bet more you can cross other and then tell the attendant how much you want to bet. I have no idea how much they would or wouldn't allow. limiting is not really an issue in general with TAB's.

Anymore than $2000 and they get permission from a designated phone number that clears larger wagers (from my understanding. Done a Poker machine/TAB course)...

They do this to determine if ur money is from illegitimate sources...

American sports aren't an issue, although UniTAB has limited the shit out of me on Tennis and small Soccer leagues. I can get down around $50 (edit: on my internet betting account, obv in store not limited) and then have to wait 60 seconds to get any more down - like Pinny etc though you can keep popping them for the max bet every 60 seconds.

For the most part juice is -111/-111 each side, but they are very slow to move their numbers on US Sports etc.

Juice varies, check there sites, sometimes on a line -17.5 for example one side might only be 1.87 but the other side will be 2.10 or more. Crazy but it can work in favour.
