sbrjohn, the linesman is saying that the COMBINED total in the first 8 minutes would be 25 points, OF BOTH TEAMS.


Maybe 5% of the NBA games this season have had a team score 25 points in 8 minutes, and that would have been Denver or Phoenix.

Most likely, NEITHER team will score 25 points within the first 13 minutes of the game and that includes the long commercial break between the 1st and 2nd quarter
