Duncan is not even the best player on his team. I'm not talking about all time--obviously he beats everyone there. The Spurs are Parkers team. They are nothing without him. He holds the ball 70% of the time. Parker running through a screen an roll every play and setting up teammates is more important than Duncan's post presence. WHen Parker does that he's tiring out the entire OKC defense on rotations.

OKC would love it if you just gave it to DUncan in the post every play.

Yeah. I actually don't think he's as good a defender anymore though. Al Jefferson kind of had his way with Duncan in the first round. Luckily, he can kind of act as a roaming defender for the Spurs in this series, with Ibaka not really a threat down low. I don't think Duncan will be able to guard an athletic big man like Bosh though. Still very solid no doubt and you can make the case that he's the 2nd most important player in the series, not the 2nd best though.

Yeah Timmy D not the same player he once was. Still a powerful presence, but I'd put him as 4th best on the court tonight behing Durant, Parker, and Westbrook easily.

Spurs depth is a lot even for OKC defense to handle. I'll admit it but I think determination and athleticism will win out in seven for the Thunder.
