Used to use them quite often for MLB, NBA, NFL, etc.... they autoupdate in the background and you could stick them in the corner semi-minimized.

Now they've got these stupid video ads.... and you can't run their fukking scoreboards w/o that stupid cat commercial coming on.

What's a good alternative simple baseball site. And don't mention espn b/c it sucks

i disagree. espn.com freezes up too much and yahoo sports is usually only about 1 minute behind real time.

It is a shame the only reason they gained me in the first place was because ESPN loads their site with all kinds of flash that make their site unusable.

Looks like I will be on the hunt for a new site to use

not an ad, so it doesn't work. its their media player for their full count feature, which shows live video from games.. its garbage and annoying

No clue what ya'll are talking about. I use yahoo sports for scores, and they look the same as they always have. I'm using Chrome, and there's no media player or anything on the page except for scores, just as usual.

I'll switch out then per chili.

I like yahoo b/c of the simplicity. These other scoreboards want to tell you how many times the batter has grabbed his own package and spitted to the left or spitted to the right... not into that.

                              WRONG

Except for the recent full count popups

Very lightweight page, good layout, great for older computers
