Vegas VS Online Betting---What do you think....
Ok....So I went to Vegas for 12 days and over that time....I noticed I was betting way different than online and I was cashing WAY more tickets and def not betting as wild.....Does anyone else notice they have different betting patterns live than online.....and why...?? Did the $ in my face make me think more logically?...Im not sure but i cashed 7-10 tickets and 3-4 were parlays and one of the losses was clips ML +310 (game they got closed out).....just wondering if its just me.....Obv i coulda lost those bets but I am mainly talking about the style and amounts of bets.....

I made 101 bets in 4 days when I was in Vegas a few months ago... of course you would never do that online because that's too many bets, but I was in Vegas for the action, not so much to grind out a profit.

Ended up going 55-44-2 and winning enough to cover the cost of my entire trip. One of those wins was a 5 team parlay I hit. Would have won a 4 team parlay too but UC Santa Barbara hit a contested jumper at the buzzer to end the 1st half to push the last bet on the card. Was pretty pissed but at least I didn't lose it all together.

      Much easier to lose online
      Way too easy
Every online book is 10x better Than any Vegas sports book as far as betting

But its also a bigger hassle for American players and the cashout methods can end up costing you extra money.

Vegas may not have as good of lines but as long as you line shop you can still get good value plus the added convinience and ease of use.

What good is slightly lower juice if the cashout methods are a pain in the rear and expensive?

exactly .. paying cash for a bet really makes you think twice. That's why casino's give you chips for your cash. Most don't look at the chips like cash and are more willing to bet with less consequence. They know if you had to pull out a Benny for each hand of blackjack that people would gamble less.

A few clicks here and there and you can lose your shirt online.

i think playing with a local is the major easy to "get crazy" in, at least for me, trying to get even before collection time. online time is endless, vegas you get paid right there.

Fact: 70 people visit Vegas for 12 days. Each makes one 2-team parlay on standard point spreads per day. On average, 1 of the 70 players will win at least 7 out of their 12 tickets.
