Apparently they have some kind of rule over this. Seems stupid to me since it is a casino and guy was not being rude, playing slow or bothering anyone.

Guy was spewing chips left and right really pissed me off.

    Anyone seen this happen before?

Makes perfect sense...so the million dollar a day casino lost 1 customer and his 500 bucks.

Saved themselves a possible "scene" by just escorting the fella out.

No it pissed me off because he was basically giving money away and I didn't think it was right since he was not being rude to anyone or impacting the game with his drunkenness.

See it a lot, but not when they're not being rude or causing a scene. Weird

Casinos are supposed to cut people from gambling who are too intoxicated. Not done consistently or correctly most of the time. Logic behind it is to prevent lawsuits from people who lost too much money and claim they did it while drunk. Casinos say it is to protect the player but that is not the real reason.

You should have pointed out that you were playing poker.

I was drinking but not heavily. Maybe this weekend I will test them on this policy. Wonder if they comp you a room or just let you drive home?

figured it had something to do with that...i see shit in local papers all the time about some big timers trying not to pay foxwoods or mohegan over some debt....although i dont know if ive seen anything specifically related to being drunk
