I went to a cockfight when I was a kid. It was a pretty big event, guys running it were strapped, they checked everyone as they drove onto the property. Thousands being bet every fight, pretty brutal, saw one of the handlers take a metal gaff from one of the roosters right in the thigh, looked painful as fukk.

About 10-15 years ago I would play in "small" games at a house here in a very affluent, elitest part of the city. Lots of politicians and well to-do types. Serious players and money only. Home was about 5,000 sq ft. and the entire operation was set-up in a very large room behind a false wall. Home owner provided a few security guards that kept out the riff raff. The ring ended up being busted after about 5 years. Guy was a millionaire many times over and ended up with community service and a large fine but stayed out of jail. No doubt favors were being called in.

Yes, of course... it's very different here...Tel Aviv is no different than anywhere else...it's happening over here...I have been in Ashdod , now that is a different world but very very nice... Tel Aviv is where its at though!

It's all of Israel, my Fiancee was in the military for three years...She did a lot with computers, never saw any action....It's not what people think it is over here... I feel more safer here than most places in the US...Tel Aviv is amazing, anything and everything is here if not more...Ashdod is a different world than Tel Aviv, it's kind of like comparing living in California and a place like Montana.
