Twins +140 is my value play of the evening.Twins +140 is my value play of the evening
Phillip (P.J) Walters makes his third start of the season.
His first two starts were solid.
Going six strong innings in his first start, losing to the Blue Jays 2-1. Not his fault the offense let him down.
Last start he beat a very good Tiger line up, going deep into the seventh inning before getting the hook in a 4-3 win.
He did give up 4 hits on 3 solo homers though in that win, but the kid knows how to pitch.

Scouts think he's a poor mans Wainwright.

PJ Walters is, for all intensive purposes, a finished product. He mixes his pitches well. He has an advanced offspeed pitch and good-not-great breaking stuff. He has a little bit of deception in his delivery hiding the ball before coming in with a somewhat odd arm angle. He’s rather lanky in appearance (think Wainwright but shorter) making some wonder how he’d hold up under 180-200 innings.

Twins pound Gavin Floyd, which is a big reason why I'm backing them tonight.
52 for 138 can not be ignored, that's a giant sample size, and it got my attention, Twins in the past own Floyd.

    Joe Mauer 45 38 16 4 1 3 8 6 2 .421 .511 .816 1.327 0 0 3 1 2
    Denard Span 29 26 13 2 0 0 3 1 3 .500 .519 .577 1.095 2 0 0 0 0
    Justin Morneau 27 26 6 1 0 2 6 1 4 .231 .259 .500 .759 0 0 0 0 0
    Alexi Casilla 18 17 7 2 0 0 1 0 5 .412 .412 .529 .941 1 0 0 0 0
    Jamey Carroll 17 16 6 2 0 0 0 1 4 .375 .412 .500 .912 0 0 0 0 0
    Ben Revere 7 7 2 1 0 0 0 0 0 .286 .286 .429 .714 0 0 0 0 0
    Josh Willingham 6 5 2 0 0 0 0 1 1 .400 .500 .400 .900 0 0 0 0 0
    Drew Butera 3 3 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 .000 .000 .000 .000 0 0 0 0 0
    Total 152 138 52 12 1 5 18 10 20 .377 .423 .587 1.010 3 0 3 1 2

    I love the Twins as a +140 bow-wow tonight.

Coming from a die hard sox fan, I will be on them too...the sox know how to make a decent pitcher they have never seen before or a few times look like Cy Young...

Also we are around if not .500 and that seems to be our ceiling...everytime we were about to break .500 this year they go on a 3 game skid...

This is very poor value. Are we talking about the same Twins here?

I mean, we're talking about the fukking Twins.

Fade me then, it's all good. Lay the buck and a half on the Chi-Sox.

            Question?
Do you want to puncture your ear drums after nine innings of listening to Hawk?

The only thing you need to be worried about Nash is Lang is on Twins. He has been decent of late though. Good luck.

Played Minny 5x in the last 2 weeks. Went 4-1 on the ML, 2-0 on the +RL, and 1-0 on the RRL all w/ good value. During that time they have gone 7-6 since May 8th. Good undervalued team that can win in the right situations. Batting just under .300 in the L5 games and averaging 5.1 runs/g in their L10. Not that CWS isn't doing well, but like OP said.... Floyd has had a history of problems w/ this team. Nothing I wouldn't go nuts on, but definitely on the radar.

This isn't the same team that Foyd has had trouble with. Cuddyer and Kubel are gone. Mauer and Morneau are nowhere near what the once were.

No, but I can see how the homers like him though, like Rizzuto when he was alive, only Yankee homers like him.
