I am holding a Phillies +770 World Series ticket and am still undecided if I will do anything either with this series or with Game 1.

If it were me in that situation, LT, it would depend on who I liked in game one. If you are seeing good value with the Dodgers to steal the game in Philly, I would simply hedge and bet the Dodgers on the series for about 1.5x your future bet. That would guarantee a small profit and leave a fair bit of value remaining should the Phillies advance. However, if you like the Phillies in game one, I'd simply lay off the game and hedge before game three, regardless of the outcome in the first two games. Game two wouldn't really matter. If the Phillies win both of the first two games or split them, you will have excellent to slightly worse hedging opportunity. If the Phillies lose both games, you could just hedge out for breakeven (with a little value left should they somehow still advance).

once again ryanxl i agree with you..its gotta be since we both are from the peninsula haha....media hype is all on the dodgers' torre and ramirez which is a joke...Phillies have been waiting for this a long time and Manuel is an incredibly shrewd manager...The Phillies have the better bats and their pitching is equal and/or better than the dodgers mix of veterans and young ones in the bullpen......tough luck overpaid Torre you don't always get your way...Phillies are getting back to the World Series
