Luckiest CL winner ever. Not even close. Soccer loses. This team played more defensive (also against Barca in both games) than the worst Italian catenaccio teams. Amazing that they spent all those millions to come up with that crap. Regulation: Bayern 16 corners and Chelsea 1. And they score out of that corner a minute before the end of regulation. lol And then Robben misses a penalty in extra time. Chelsea didn't win this CL. Bayern lost it. This type of defensive play (100% parking the bus) could kill soccer.

how would YOU have wanted them to play against teams like barca and bayern who have some of the best offensive players in the worlds and chelsea have very important players missing and the club was in a mess

Nope. 1975 finals Leeds Utd v. Bayern München, zeh germans stole it big time.

Soccer may be played in many ways.

Chelsea played the way they have to play at least to have a chance. If they would have played an open game against Bayernm they could have lost 5-0, so why they should have played that way? Just cause some people think that they have to play that way?

Bayern ****** themselves, I in fact was rooting for Bayern, but all those missed chances, u cannot win if u don't score. And Robben once again missing a key penalty, I think if he would have scored then, now we may be talking about a Bayern champion, but didn't happen.

Soccer not like NFL or some others sports. Chelsea did not have the service of Ramires & Raul, missing key player in the mid field couldn't catch up w/ Bayern still have more good options. Soccer just like poker, you play what you have in hand, not one or two players can decide the win. Drogba is always man of the big match.

So defensive BUT we scored more goals then napoli,benfica, Barcelona and beat bayern on penalties

that not luck, its obviously an arrangement.... champions league is a script, so is premiership and all major leagues in euorpe... the winner for 2012 euro has already been decided by uefa on paper

Coaching coaching coaching. Munich had a poor structure given they had the upper hand given IMO better players, better attackers. They themselves played defensively RELATIVELY speaking. It's not luck, it's shit structure from Munich's manager OSRAM. If you understand +-EV then you would know why Munich didn't deserve this and Matteo did. You have to make the best of your chances with what you have.

i dont get how soccer/football lost, at least in america. i know a shitload of people who dont care about the sport and know im into it and told me how exciting both the man city game sunday and this game on saturday were. americas the only marketplace left for this sport, since its tops everywhere else.
