Count me in - I like Rangers to bounce back, as usual. Rangers are 5-1 so far in TY’s playoffs after a loss, including 3-0 on the road, where they rode the stellar play of Vezina Trophy candidate goal keeper Henrik Lundqvistto victory in games 3 and 6 in Ottawa, and game 3 in Wash, all 3 times following disappointing NYR home losses, the same scenario that we have here in game 3. And as has been the case for most of the season and certainly in their tough early round series against Ottawa and Wash, most of our hopes again rest onLundqvist, who may have occasional lapses but typically comes up big in huge games like this one, so I am again expecting great things from him today. Another plus for NYR is that neither team has been able to win consecutive games over the other TY (in other words, the team that lost the last game between them, which obviously is NYR here, is 7-0 in the series TY).
The final edge that I see for NYR here is that both teams have had two days rest after game 2, and the Rangers were able to practice at home L2 days and did not have to travel, with the Pru Center in Newark, NJ just a short bus ride from NYC. And with NYR having been extended to 7 games in both the first and second rounds, while NJD enjoyed a short 5 game series vs Flyers in second round, and NYR looking tired and much less energetic than NJD in game two, especially in the first and third periods, and scoring both of their goals only with a power play advantage, it is logical to assume that the added day’s rest will benefit NYR more than it does NJD. Moreover, note that TY NYR is 18-7 playing on “long rest” of 2> days, including a stellar 14-3 on exactly two days’ rest, while NJD is a decent but not as good 17-12 playing on “long rest” of 2> days, including 15-8 on exactly two days’ rest.
So based on all of the above support, I like NYR at “even money” odds on the ML. But my major play on NYR is a "live" parlay at +225 odds with Rangers (when they were at +115 on Thurs) to the LA Kings (at -200 on ML in their game 3 Thurs, which they won). So while I like NYR to win here, no good reason to play them at even money odds when I already have them at +225 odds on my “live” parlay). However, I'm also playing NYR -1/2 on regulation puck line, risking one unit to win +1.7 units at +170 odds, and a one unit "draw play," risking one unit to win +2.7 units (that the game will go to OT) at +270 odds on the draw line. That “draw play” also protects the reg puck line play on NYR, since if game goes to OT, we lose the reg puck line play for one unit but win +2.7 units with our “draw play,” regardless of which team ultimately wins in OT.
GO RANGERS!

I have this game over 4.5 as well for some reason... but at least there's a ray of hope now. New Jersey bounces back here with a quick one and ties it up in the dying minutes?
+1.5 and the over cash!
So uncorrelated.
