JJ, it's just one of those cheap bars that are sold everywhere, you screw in circular sockets in the door frame then "unscrew" the bar in place. It's only safe for guys under 220 though - I'm 190 and you can already see the bar flexing a bit.

Soon to be 30. I'm the most non-athletic guy I know and I sure as hell don't juice. Just got my ass handed to me in tennis tonight, by a balding, beer-gutted old guy. I've just been doing the same daily routine for 4 years now - push-ups, pull-ups, dumbbell curls & raises. 20-30 minutes every day.

Matty 10 years ago I could of done those with one hand, I am older than you but will get there. Matty that was first time I ever did them. Matty try the one I got, it is really nice and no screws into wall. I bought mine............lol stole mine at Sports Authority today and alwys wanted one but always thought how they work without screws but you do need gloves as it is easier on the hands.

I like mine. I wrapped the ends with hockey tape to do wide-grips. Don't have problems with my hands, it's the elbows after a while. Never do more than 12 reps - when you get there, tie weights to your waist.

I used to train a lot more regularly. At my peak, I could do 3 with one arm and a series of sets of 15 with a 50 lbs weight tied to my waist. Now I'm overworked and underslept and can barely manage 10, 7 after playing a mere hour of tennis, like you just saw.

I do speak that unmistakable Quebecois English. Had a girlfriend who had that "bilingual gene", spoke flawless English and Quebecois. Very annoying, made me feel inadequate in front of other anglos.

Sorry though, not tonight - only got 2 beers left in the fridge. That's not nearly enough.
