#40What makes you say that?Originally posted by BIGDAYLakers might win by double digits. Bol though.
They are 2-4 against OKC this year. One win was in double overtime in the game Harden got injured and the other was by three points last night when they went 41 of 42 at the line.
If people think LA wins it's cool. I just want to know why everyone thinks LA is going to win easily when they have struggled to beat OKC in both wins.Comment -

#42You sound like your feelings are bittersweet or something close to that, about last night's loss.Originally posted by BigDofBAI actually don't think he is. Likewise, it's pretty funny how many bandwagon Lakers fans come out of the wood work after they barely win one at home. Good thing they got over 40 points from the free throw line.
OKC is the better team. With that said, that doesn't guarantee anything. I think we will have another good game. OKC is still in good shap win or lose tonight.
I agree with you, that OKC is better team, but the Lakers can make it difficult for them.
It's all about match-ups and the Lakers can slow down Harden/Westbrook. I don't say that they can limit them to zero, but they can slow them down and chase their chances.
I think that the Lakers will win tonight. B2B is a factor, but they can handle their fatigue.
I expect a better performance of the frontline. Bynum will show up tonight.
I guess 30 points from FTs will be enough tonight.

OKC has beat the shit of the Lakers multiple times this season and the only games LA won were nail biters at home.Comment -

#45The Lakers have talent. Even though I hate Kobe with a passion, he is one of the best of all time. With that said, he isn't the player he once was. Likewise, as talented as Bynum is, he is a mental midget.Originally posted by tullamore21You sound like your feelings are bittersweet or something close to that, about last night's loss.

I won't be shocked if LA wins tonight but I doubt they blow OKC out. Also, I love all the Laker fans comments after last night's game. Scott Brooks is all of the sudden a bad coach. OKC is overrated. LA is going to win easy tonight and win the series.
OK. We will see. At least I'm not a bandwagon fan that only shows up after my team wins. This wasn't going to be a short series. LA is a good team, I just don't think they are elite anymore.Comment -

#48regardless how this series ends up, keeping kgb is not looking good as the new cba and its death tax, lakers need flexibility, cause kobe makes what like 30 mil next season and cap space is then eaten up further with bynum and gasolOriginally posted by BigDofBAThe Lakers have talent. #49Before doin some stupid all in, you should check referees for tonight game. Surprisingly Dan Crawford, Ron Garretson and Ken Mauer are all heavy ''home'' refs....Ain't sayin that they will ''fix'' it for Lakers, but it's danger for any kind of all in bet.

People need to start understanding that the refs are a big part of this. LA probably has a great chance tonight.Comment -

#53It hard for me to talk about last night's game because everyone will just say I'm a homer but almost half of the Lakers points were free throws and the refs kept calling fouls away from the ball in the final two minutes that just kept sending Kobe to the line. As soon as OKC went up 5 late, it was foul, foul, foul. Kobe to the line, Kobe to the line, Kobe to the line.Originally posted by No coincidencesTo say the least.

It's almost like LA was going to win that game come Hell or high water. That's part of the reason I created this thread yesterday.
It's not going to surprise me if we see a similar game tonight and I'm starting to think this series is pre-determined to be a 7 game series.Comment -

#59Dude line movement is starting to scare me now
Tipping to 2 already and possibly 2.5 by game time. although technically not one of those games that "over"-steams ,and also a dog at only pinny and heritage for a short time so thats an exception too - or not ?
if i see a 2.5 I might just go for a very modest middle. Game sounds very fishy.Comment -

#69F this god damn officiating. Not only are the refs pro LAKERS... it's starting to wear on the minds of the OKC players now. They are forcing things they normally don't have to... I don't understand this BullSH#$!!! OKC is so inexperienced when it comes to this type of officiating... they don't even know what they CAN and CAN'T DO. What a total fraud this NBA is... KOBE out there acting like a WWF superstar... flopping around.. selling it.. and the refs buying it... F UComment -
