I know you're probably being sarcastic here (and you know their background). But just to state the obvious here:

Both are Jewish Americans. Ashkenazi Jews to be exact. Both currently reside in the New York City area (Stern lives in suburban Scarsdale). Stern himself is definitely a native of the New York area. Both have law degrees, so they are also lawyers. Stern's undergrad degree is from Rutgers in NJ, and his law degree is from Columbia (Ivy League school) in NYC. Adam Silver's undergrad degree is from Duke, and his law degree is from the University of Chicago.

Folks, these guys are just about as "Wall Street" as it gets short of being a blue blooded WASP from Connecticut or a member of the Kennedy clan, lol. They're hungrier than the WASPS matter of fact. They're part of the "tribe" lol.

But hey, can't hate on them all that much when they're able to save athletically talented African-Americans from the worst hoods in America and turn them into bonafide stars & millionaires.
