Castro, not a lot of upside for Altuve might hit .300 but not much speed power defense or walks.

you always take the SS over the 2B, but if his defense continues to be this bad they will have to move him to 3rd i would imagine.

i don't know i may go justin upton. he is only 24 and can play center. he just doesn't because they have chris young.

I wouldn't say Arrived yet WV..... he has his flashes, but he hasn't been consistent yet. Not real happy with his defense this year, guy never throws to the right base, and takes horrible routes

well from what i have read about baseball drafting philosophy, i agree with the camp that thinks you draft the highest ceiling players with greater risk than players with lower ceiling but are safer. so i would still go with upton not that there is that large a difference between the two.

like this year the astros are probably going to daft a pitcher from stanford, but the best prospect is a guy that plays center from high school. if i was drafting i would take the guy from high school.

Castro for the reasons antifoil mentioned. Castro needs to improve defense and attitude/behavior problems. But raw talent is there.

the guy that pick profar is on the BP up and in podcast from time to time. they love profar.

he is just blocked by andrus. wouldn't be surprised if the rangers trade andrus at some point to make room for profar.

i know all about profar....been reading baseball america since i was like 9.....its just..someone has to be enamored by him to, hypothetically, take him that high in a franchise draft without any mlb abs

Castro... because the brightest GM in baseball is basically try to start a team from scratch (close as you can get to an expansion team), and he knows damn well the only piece worth keeping is their star SS.
