Gotta pace yourself and not bet too many games. Dont chase with late night action, always a recipe for disaster.

Have done well this season, hit a bit of a losing streak lately. Will take it slow for a while, too much losing is hurting my psyche.

Power teams cant hit
Aces getting light up

Obviously not every great pitcher is gonna throw a perfect game every outing and vice versa with the shytty ones but man...hardest of all is gauging effort level on day to day basis. You just never know with baseball players.

At least playoffs right now u know your getting effort. Gotta pick my spots a bit better from now on.

Exactly... Rangers finally play some teams under .500 after 3 straight weeks of playing winning teams and go 3-4 against them. WTF?

I think I am going to start fading myself in baseball. I am on a bad losing streak lately. I think I am making plays that make sense, but the opposite happens. For example the Mariners/Indians game the other night with Felix/Ubaldo pitching, I had under 7.5 in that game and it goes over in the 3rd inning. Ridiculous, those 2 pitchers have started all star games and won Cy Youngs and were facing lousy offenses to boot.

Problem is that baseball is the only thing going on in July and August... my money makers are college football and basketball but those only go on for 7 months out of the year.

Wed. night I picked 6 games I loved. 5 baseball and the amazing 76r's on the ML to crush the arthritic Celtics. Ended up 1-5 for the night. I also took a 875/500 lead on Halladay for Thursday thinking that was great value and would buy back a scalp or let it ride if Wed. was good to me. My normal bets these days are $100-200 per game. After getting my ass handed to me yet again I decided to bail on the Phillies who dropped to -160 at the time. What the hell, bought the Cubs back on the runline and basically forgot about it until I saw an update on espn. Phillies 8-3 late. Turn off light go to sleep...hahaha Cubs score 4 in the 9th to cover runline. Get it all back on minor miracle. Not sure what my point is here but yeah bases is upside down this year. Good luck and stay the hell away from this interleague steaming shitshow.

JJ, you should try betting tennis. When Djokovic was down a break in the second set to Monaco yesterday, I felt like I might fall into a depression ... I take every Friday off -- I don't bet on any favorites; maybe take a swing at 1 or 2 dogs -- just to give my mind and body a break from the anxiety.

Perhaps you just need to take one day off a week just to give yourself a break from worrying about MLB wagering.
