sportsgeek went under as football was starting last. The little you can find with google says they blamed people multi accounting and abusing the sign up bonus as well as the cost of paying for stat feeds as making their business model unsustainable. There were people who lost money.

11runs I hadn't heard about. I would get e-mails weekly from them with a sign up bonus. Never bit. I have been playing at Draft Street lately and there seems to be a reasonable amount of activity. I had one decent cash out from them and the check cleared. They also sent me a 1099 for my taxes.

Rotohog already did. After a couple of years running generous promo contests they pretty much dried up. Couldn't get many people to pony up for the pay for play end of the game. The market format eliminates the casual player who gets home from work and wants to put a few bucks on a fantasy match for the night. By the time he's drinking his evening beer, Josh Hamilton has already been bid up to a ridiculous price along with all the good SP's for the day. Player stock market is a lot of fun, but not very practical to get broad participation.
