I'm in , please like Roxxy & BeerDog have said make it PLO8. Hi/Lo will give the best action on the tables. Please let this be a sign that we'll be getting Omaha here as an option. Also 2-3pm is fine. But let me ask, does this mean we won't be able to participate in the 5pm?

Hi guys,

A slight change of plans: We'll be spreading Omaha ring games from 3pm-5pm this weekend until the SBR Rebuys tournament begins. We're unable to run an Omaha or Stud tournament as our poker software's code only supports Texas Hold Em currently.

Same concept as holdem.

Main difference is you get 4 hole cards and you must USE 2 and only 2 OF THOSE CARDS.

I pushed 40 already but that is besides the point. Its not like I asked for Stub or Draw poker.... Now that is an old man's game.

Personally, I find the split pot games more interesting and more action oriented because some guys are going for only one side and don't understand they are getting quartered.

Anyways to me, it is fun and different than the same old holdem' game.

I don't think they were advertising, John was gauging the interest. Lou responded in this thread http://forum.sbrforum.com/poker/1722...-schedule.html that they cannot spread the Omaha tourney with the current version of the software.

The title of this thread says omaha poker tourney at 3pm, if thats not advertising i dont know what is. If their software couldnt support it then they shouldnt have even brought it up, maybe it would have been wise to see if it would work before advertising the event. Its just a half assed way of doing things which seems to be the standard for poker here.

Half assed? Half assed would be putting the tournament on and the software failing during it... all because they wanted to please the one guy in this thread who posted nonsense. Give em Some credit...At least they're looking into it to give us more options down the road.

Software isn't ready... it isn't ready, that simple imo. Calling him out saying he's half assing it for posting a thread that seems to be testing the waters for interest more than anything... just seems kinda unecessary.

Of course theres gonna be interest in omaha, why wouldnt there be, he put a fukking start time down so hardly sounds like a peak of interest question. Its half assed to annouce something and then go back on it just like its half assed to take vig on rebuys. Shouldnt have announced a tourney if software isnt ready, bottom line.

** picks raises a good point. Why is there vig on rebuys?? This and an auto top-up/rebuy would be awesome. In the meantime, I don't understand why the software is updating every two weeks with seemingly no improvements.

its pretty good so far, , id like to have 1 limit table,

the headsup room is not hu like some of us though, its nl omaha and not high lo

You can see all the cards good, nothing wild happening yet except some splitting pots, one winning high and lo, and the other just winning half the low
