Gateser....I know you're a big Arrested Development fan, but have you seen the movie "The Change-Up" with Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds? I watched part of it for like the 4th time last night.

I actually saw this with my wife when it came out at the theatre, and don't remember liking it all that much. But I've found it surprisingly re-watchable on cable. There's several parts in it that are just flat out funny. Movie has a great message to it as well.

ugh i saw that at the theater while waiting for another movie last year, i don't mind disgusting as long as it's funny but that wasn't funny

it was just an awful movie, characters were way more annoying than likeable. like watching adam sandler or nails on a chalkboard.

maybe you're right that it gets better on another viewing so i'll give it another try, i doubt it though

Yea, When I first saw it, I thought it was just OK.

It's been on Cinemax alot lately, so I've been catching snippets of it as well. Much better the 2nd time around.

There's quite a few movies I hated the first time watching, then as I watch them more, I pick up new things and they are quite good.

Kraken, I was down there about 5yrs ago for the NCAA wrestling Nationals and became a regular at Toby Keiths I love this bar and grill. Gotta drink a lot of 3.2 beer though. Yet was still able to get plenty hammered.


Had a blast, very fun town.

Another movie which I thought sucked in the theatre, but became surprisingly re-watchable on cable is "Miami Vice". I've seen it now at least 10 times, and I actually kinda dig it.

Toby Keiths is a great place for good southern food and a decent beer selection. Good ol' country boy music to boot. The area it's in is known as bricktown and has grown immensely over the last 10 years, used to be a dump. Good place to live right now, really cheap with enough to do. Also a wrestlers heaven here but then again so is Iowa and Minny! I've rolled with John Smith many times over the years, really good guy.

Next time you're here hit me up and we'll head down to Dallas and sneak up on Opie
