they're 13-4 at home and San Diego is 3-10 on the road, It's strasburg (who has been completely dominant) against some scrub on San Diego. It's got better than a "good chance" to win

Anyone who thinks there is value in the Nationals at -230 here either doesn't understand baseball or they don't understand math. There is most definitely not value in this line whatsoever. It's Padres or nothing for the ones whom have a clue.

The best part about these stupid threads is when the Nationals end up winning 8-0 they will come back and act like they were right in stating that there was value in the line when in reality the 8-0 result means nothing of the sort, lol. yeah playing it at -1.5 @ +100 seems much more sane. although i still dont trust the nats offense so im laying off

i'll be pissed if the padres win at +205 odds though. i hate missing out on those big upsets, i was tempted to make an impulse play on verlander vs royals last month but didnt pull the trigger and missed out on a +230 win

There is not any value in -230, and the problem with this line is strausburg's short leash. He does not get the chance to go 9 innings and seal up his fate.

Since he will be pulled around 6 innings, you have to realize that the bullpen is going to be in half the game. -230 not so hot at that point. Either take the run line or lay off.

If he was pulled at 6th inning, the bullpen does not have to pitch half the game. He would have to be pulled half way through 4th for that to be true.
