I mean what if you tell me to select the weather for July 14: it rains at all—even; no rain -120. How about August 24: rains -110; no rain -115. Limit $10,000. Cantor gets good publicity; early action from most people who have no edge. They will tweak these daily. Don't get me wrong, it's revolutionary; we're all impressed. But is it really such a gamble? Games of the year..type games.. but they have done this the last few years. Before that I believe it was the hilton super book or someone..cant really remember..but I have seen this previous season..

They have done this for years, its where traders and buy back guys take shots early and look to middle games if the like is off. Most of these 2.5 games will get hit looking for soft 3s or maybe even full 3.5s. Same witht he 3.5s where guys will look for 2.5s and soft 3s.
There is a pretty standard formula for spreads in the NFL and the numbers dont change all that much even with injuries or perceived better or worse than expected teams.
But right now it looks like they arent giving the Bronocs a Manning factor, theyre dogs or PK ems in more than half their games. So basically they figure Broncos will be worse with Manning than they were with Tebow at least in terms of predicted wins. Basically 7-5 and 3 toss up games. With only 3 of those wins as 'sure things', spread wise anyway.
If you ask me Bronvcos will be vastly over rated all year so getting small numbers on them early could help.

not that much, maybe a point or a point and a half to open. Only a few QBs qill effect a line greatly, and even then maybe only short term if the team shows it can play with the back up. When brady went down a couple years ago lines were maybe 2-2.5 points off, once they figured out the other guy could win they went right back to where they would have been with brady. At least on the openers, bettors will move them but openers are based on a pretty specific set of standards.Comment -
