It's really stupid for this series because it's the clippers but it comes from the 80s when the boston and philadelphia fans used to chant "BEAT LA" in the nba finals.

This. Philly was about to beat Boston in Boston to go to the NBA finals against the Lakers, so in the final seconds the Cs fans started chanting "Beat LA". Pretty cool moment, and sadly one of the very rare times us Boston fans were creative and original :/
