    Phillies RL POUND POUND POUND
Jeff Suppan has been skating on thin ice since hes been called up and today he wont be fooling this veteran line up and will get ROCKED. Suppan was terrible when he was released by the Brewers 2 years ago and in his triple A start before getting called up this year he gave up 17 hits and 9 runs in 3 innings.

he benefited from pitching at petco his first 2 starts and had runners on base constantly but both teams he faced were struggling and could not make him pay. won't happen today.

meanwhile cole hamels has been the best LHP pitcher in the game and best pitcher on the phillies staff this year.

he has an insane K:BB ratio, striking out 44 and 6 BB in 40 IP. that is sick right there. Padres hitting .222 against lefties. won't touch him.

even like the 2.5 run line for +175. gl everyone.

PHL definitely has the reputation--and that's a scary proposition to bet on...I think PHL-240 is over valued and SD+220 is a better choice. PHL has lost too many games lately to be such a huge favorite. This line reflects last night's loss vs SD with sportsbooks inflating the line knowing many chasers are out to claim a series profit. PHL will most likely win, but betting that line seems a bit unfair.

Wigginton is a proven hitter with power. Galvis is starting to hit and Scneider is has the power to go yard.

no way SD line up is even close to Phillies. regardless. this is about the pitchers they are facing. llike i said Suppan 3 starts ago gave up 17 hits and 9 earned in 3 innings to a triple a ball club. so throw that line up shit out the window.

So what? After that start he's 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA against major league teams... he shut down the Brewers & Rockies, both much better hitting teams than Phillies.

Just don't see why a bad minor league start 2 weeks ago makes this guy the worst pitcher on Earth, especially when he's bounced back in the majors with 2 quality starts since then.

I was right there with you, that is why I am not playing them today, constant letdown with that team this year

Fading SD after any win is never a bad idea. Truly a pathetic lineup. While PHI doesn't have much hitting either I still take them in this spot but RL is tricky with two low scoring lineups. Best of luck.

                        God bless.

Hamels almost at 90 pitches going into the 6th. phils bullpen could blow this late if phils tac on another run

the guy was a gas can when he was released in 2010..hes close to 40 years old...he didnt suddenly regain some elite skill. bottom line is he has to regress to the mean.

unbelievable. my biggest bet peeve is when these hitters cant lift a fly ball with a runner on third with 1 out

It's incredible how fukking stupid baseball players actually are. You don't get to see it often because the game is pretty consistent but that infield fly drop shows that Ruiz had no fukking idea what he was doing running to second and Bartlett had even less of an idea that he is supposed to tag the runner.

Seriously, both those guys should be benched and study the rules of the game. Retards.

the phillies are ******* terrible. Victorino on 2nd with 1 out in the 9th and Wigginton takes a pitch down the heart of the ball for strike 3. than 2 walks. bases loaded and Ruiz hits a weak ground ball to first.
