It's all relative...$100 to someone is $3000 to someone else...it doesn't matter the size of the bank as long as you come out positive!

Congrats PWAD on another great call!! followed you on the under for game and 1st 5 and had SF to top the night off...

I know a lot about tennis, so much that it's the only sport I can make massive bets on ... If it weren't for tennis, I'm sure I'd never be able to do better than break even in gambling.

But even knowing as much as I do, almost every match I bet on seems to have so many turning points. Deuces, tiebreakers, break points, etc ... so many stressful moments that now I usually just follow the matches on flashscore.

I'm predicting that my first heart attack will come before I'm 40. lol.

It kind of does. People betting ten dollars a game probably aren't great cappers or they'd win a lot and eventually be able to raise their bet over time.

I haven't been doing this long, only a little over 2 years actually capping. I've been betting sports as long as I can remember, but it was all gut plays.

My unit size is $100. I rarely deviate. I'm even that guy who plays $100 to win $90 (instead of $110 to win $100). I bet half units a lot too. I rarely ever go more, and I have only gone to $1000 twice in my life, but that was only in Vegas - good times. This playoffs however, I have paid some serious bets (for me) and laying a lot of juice on Celtic Money Lines. Luckily they've all cashed, and I've yet to have gotten burried.

Anyway, the point being - this is recreational to me. Don't do it for a living, seems too hard. Losing my whole roll wont kill me, just piss me off. With that said, I get the same rush wagering $10 as I do $100. Wagering these huge ML's however, has been a bit intoxicating.

If you do it for a living, and/or bet $3k on a damn total - more power to ya. That is insane to me. If I lose that, I would go broke being on tilt and chasing alone trying to get it back.

I wouldn't recommend betting outside of your comfort zone. While 3000 is still a lot to me, I can lose it and still fall asleep. Some guys here probably couldn't. If so, they shouldn't bet that much. If I had a family to think of, I'd probably not bet as much, or at least hope I wouldn't.

On first glance too many games pop out. I need to narrow it down to one, maybe two.

I love arroyo. Guy is probably one of the smartest pitchers in the game. Gets the job done with such garbage stuff. But Edwin Jackson is a little scary. It's either no hitter stuff or batting practice with walks too.
