Believe it or not, I actually miss BoS. They were a great book when things were going good. I had a decent connection there, that not only valued my business, and made me feel like a VIP, but also paid me quickly. I also was very lucky to be able to get all of my money out before things went sour. Thanks again to the employee at BoS for that one as well.

      Interesting.

I also miss BoS. I always made money with their books. Don't think I ever had a losing year with even one of them.

At the end, I was with WagerMall and one other, that they had bought and I didn't know it. I liked WM, you could almost always get an extra half point at one of the menu books, and sometimes a point on a total.

I did a complete withdrawal at WM some months before Carruthers was arrested. I lost my nickel on a differnt book they had, one they had acquired and I didn't know about. If I was at this site when it happened i wouldn't hve lost it

I loved them also. They took teaser action like nobody's business. I'd send 10k and get a fat bonus. I'd try to double+ or wipe out each week. If I lost everything, repeat and get bonuses. My team got stuck about 80k when they went down though...

My algebra teacher in middle school did not know anything about football, but she wanted to play in the faculty $10 pool. She knew that I liked football, and I was a math genius, at least for the 7th grade, and I was the teacher's pet. So, she asked my football pick advice on a weekly basis, and one week, I went 16-4 and she won $400. She threw me a $100 for the help. I've been a sports betting fool ever since.

The first time I went to a dog track it was impressive. The races were wild. Surprised to see such thing existed. I was 20 and never heard of greyhound racing. On the last race of the night, a friend and I split a $2 win bet on greyhound named Reno Cool.
It was my first ever official bet. Reno started slow, but made a big move late and finished 2nd. I started going to the track at every opportunity. I was entering my senior year at the University, and the thought of resumes and jobs was making me ill. I would drive out to the track and place bets for the card and rush back to make 2:00 class.
Never liked the thought of working in this society and was thinking I could beat the public since the pools are parimutual. Well, I never worked much and spent a lot of time and effort on the races. Being constantly low on cash and fighting a 20% vig it took me about 7 years before I was able to make significant money gambling.---and it had little to do with greyhound racing. But its always been and still is gambling or bust for me.

Well, I've always been a big sports junkie to start off with, so eventually I started playing fantasy baseball, football and basketball. Lots of people will tell you that most of fantasy spots is luck, and in football I would agree with you. Unless you are in a deeper league, you don't have much of an advantage over a newbie with some yahoo rankings.

However, fantasy baseball has captivated me, and for the past few years I have studied so many statistics, player development, trends, pitch types, and home/road splits, I now consider myself an expert. I won my only money league last year, netting about 200 bucks. I was like okay, I will try again this season. I joined 4 money leagues and netted a little over $1,200 and only risked $250.

One of the site I use to check player news had an add for bodog, and within a few hours I was betting on this game that I love, and know very well. As soon as next year I plan on getting into the positive units with the discipline and hard work. I hope that some of you follow me next season.

                    Best of luck.
