TNT > everything else for NBA.
CBS > everything else for NCAAB.
Sunday Ticket > everything in the universe for NFL.
Baseball = unwatchable
ESPN is decent for NCAAFB. Gameday is solid coverage.

Espn needs some people with good personalities.

Even NBC was better with Bill Walton and Steve Snapper Jones.
TNT has personalities. That is was works in broadcasting.

espn's demographic is basically idiots and the mentally challenged, i don't know how even a casual sports fan can stomach a single minute of any of their programming aside from the actual events/games they air

It is better, even if it's just Charles that makes the half time show. Shaq just turrible. Kenny is there to fill a seat, thinks he says profound shit when he's a clown. Marv, Kerr, Sager are good. Webber a half literate joke

Barry is the only decent one at ESPN. Magic is a half queer. Wilbon toolbox who sucks Magic any chance he gets. Broussard annoying random unqualified high yella he must be like a quarter black but tries to pass full. Then they got Dorris Dyke doing games fuk outa here

Its too bad TNT cant get the Finals. I think of quality NBA playoff coverage in the 2000s I think TNT, like NBC was in the 90s

IMO Shaq started off bad, has improved alot, his voice seems clearer, understandable, more bearable, I think he's gonna compliment Charles and Kenny ok. Never liked Peter Vecsey back in the day, he was very ornery, never positive and had a Jim Gray-ness about him during interviews which I hated, and I actually like Jim Gray, I thought his way of getting under players' skin was funny, albeit very insensitive. I like Webber also, remember these guys are former players first and analyst isnt as natural to them. Broussard I like, very informative. Wilbon I like on Pardon the Interruption, dont really care for him at halftime of games. Jon Barry I dont really care for, very negative to me, dont really care for his brother either on NBA TV, although he's slightly more bearable. Magic kinda lets me down, I expect more insight from him and I always come away thinking he's not informative or insightful in his analysis. Its amazing everybody likes Barkley and I like him too, but too many times he is cutting a guy off to give his take and then he says a bunch of nothing really. I find myself disagreeing with him alot also, Kenny I agree with more and he seems to be able to articulate what he's actually thinking better.

Vescey hated the players, and 100% of the NBA hated him. It made every interview he did uncomfortable, and entertaining. If Vescey was still popular he would be Skip Bayless.

tnt halftime show is great, during the game most of the announcers suck. personally liked the espn announcers better, at least the a (breens crew) and b (hubie) team. guys like broussard n steven a and magic get off my screen.

am i not alone in thinking the tnt halftime/postgame show can be incredibly entertaining or embarrassingly awkward.. when they're in a nice rhythm it's great, but there are plenty of times when it breaks down and it seems like barkley's gone off his meds and shaq looks like he wants to KILL him. there seemed to be a lot of tension there this past month.

both espn and tnt have pros and cons.. i like stephen a. though. especially when he works himself up. very entertaining

TNT's coverage is arguably the best of any sport. Love watching their halftime studio show and Inside the NBA. Very entertaining but also insightful. Marv is still the best at calling games and Kerr and Fratello are also good. I used to hate Reggie Miller as an announcer. Still don't really like him but he has grown on me. Harlan is good as well.

ESPN is a joke when it comes to the studio. Van Gundy is very good though and it's always funny to listen to him bitch about flopping. Breen is solid but I would rather listen to Albert. Other than Breen and Van Gundy, the espn announcing teams are pretty bad.
