thanks. never played the main event either, but ive played in several 1k and 1.5k nlh, omaha hi/lo and 2-7 triple draw tournys. the fields are so big these days, the tournaments are like lotteries now.

Please tell me you didn't go to Winstar or Choctaw... places are a rip off. The .50 ante per hand on blackjack makes the house edge 11% which makes the game worse than even the tightest LV strip slot machines. Also there is no oversight organization or regulation so the Indians can do whatever they want since they don't have to release slot payout reports...

I don't think that's going to work. Tables games are rated on average wager and time spent. You want to get the average wager up so it pays to up your bets when the pit boss is watching.

At a table game like BJ what difference does it make how much you buyin for? It's a function of avg bet and time.

you have 5k in chips... and you put 1000 of it in action... then you buy another 5k ? so now you are sitting with 10k .. but you are betting no? maybe you win maybe you loose but still u keep buying?

wouldn't you be better off just buying in with 20k?
