I went on Garcia-Lopez today for several reasons. Garcia is no Rafa, but he can play very good on the dirt. This is Bags worst surface, by far. If you look at Bags last 3 tments: he got tossed by Haas last week (also went 3 sets with Dustin Brown AND Kamke). Tment before, he lost first round to Fognini. Tment before that, he lost first round & got blown out by Chardy.
Garcia-Lopez lost last week to in an form Paire in the quarters. Two tments ago, he drew Nadal in after beating Kunitsyn. Three tments ago, he blew out Brown & lost a super tight 3 setter to Hajek.
I didn't go big on this play, 1/2 unit paraly with one leg in already. But I wouldn't be shocked if Bags losses again first round. I see at least one really close set & maybe one not so close. Should be a good match.
Also, Bags WAS favored to win this match when the book set the line. Money coming in on Garcia-Lopez flipped the line & made him a slight fav.

Bags just didnt look right in his last match against haas. He is also playing a spanaird in Spain which is a little incentive thought not a lot for lopez. I have garcia-lopez winning about 57 percent in this spot so the line is just about correct. With how bags played last game there could be something wrong there so i went the other way. Im not saying its over, Garcia-Lopez up a set & a break already, but I'm kinda kicking myself for only putting 1/2 unit on the paraly with Garcia-Lopez. It will pay out at +128 range. I knew Bags would suck it here.

Can't trust Bags on clay. I rarely trust Bags at all anymore. Can't ever go on name alone. Bags gets a lot of public support bec of what he USED to be. He is what he is now. Average in my eyes. Waiting on one more finish for a good day. GL ev1 with other sports tonight!!
