i knew BODE was fukked from the jump it was wire-to-wire or nothing for him, but for just a second at top of stretch thought just maybe he was that super horse and was going to win going away....oh well

Bode ran a good race. But holding your speed over 10 furlongs is tough. He did not bounce like I thought he would, and it will be intersting to see if Baffert runs him in the Preakness.

preakness and belmont not looking too exciting at the moment i bet by belmont time you are going to be looking at a whole new batch of horses with maybe a couple sprinkled in from today

The grind of the triple crown trail always brings in new shooters for the Belmont. Some longshots have won the Belmont the last 10 years like Birdstone, Summer Bird, Ruler on Ice, etc. It's tough to ask a horse to run these type of races so close together. As for Bode being a POS, got to differ on that assessment.

The reason he lost was because he didn't have the stamina. A friend of mine had him and I told him he'd lose just because its rare a horse gets out in front and holds off the whole race. Although I actually thought he was going to pull it off in the final stretch. He had a nice lead.

Trinniberg was up there but he was rating not sending him (watch the Jocks hands and arms) so Bode was setting his own pace free running on the lead which is just what he wants since he has never passed a horse in his life.

Last horse to win wire to wire in the Derby was War Emblem in 2002. It's a tough race to win out on the front the whole race. Usually, a front runner gets caught before they finish the 10 furlong journey. Think Hard Spun in 2007 when Street Sense passed him. I would not call it rare for a front runner to win in many races, but it is true for the Derby.
