Which team is worse? Right now the record says the Twins, but I think the Mariners will eventually overtake the Twins as the worst team
Wedge is a good manager, but the problem starts at the very top. Zduriencik is one of the worst GM's in the league. The guy is a grotesque glutton and it doesn't matter what trades or deals he pulls, the Mariners will always suck with Fat Z up top.
He is the equivalent of fraudster Steve Phillips. Both guys are absolutely horrible. But they sweet-talked their way thru the interview process... and, well, there you go.
Anybody making the hiring decision on Philips and Zduriencik was absolutely bonkers.
