Yet another NO NO in baseball. Something OBVIOUSLY different in baseball in the last few years. Weaver pitched the 274th no hitter in MLB history, 10th in the last two years. Took six years prior to that to get ten no hitters in MLB. 8 years before that. Steroids are a helluva drug.

They haven't developed any pitching over the past 5 years or so. They traded Matt Garza, Liriano is a head case, Nick Blackburn is inconsistent, Scott Baker can't stay healthy, and Kevin Slowey got run out of town. There is not a lot of help on the way either, the only pitcher in the minors who could be considered close to Major League ready is Kyle Gibson and he had Tommy John surgery last summer. Not a fun time to be a Twins fan right now.
