I must be reading the report wrong...I read that he had been shot with a shotgun to the chest, and at his side was a handgun. ??? how does that work?Comment -

#75Shot himself in the chest. Gun fell out of his hand after shot. Gun landed at his side. I think a little unusual though. Usually it's a shot to the head.Originally posted by eidolonRIP

#81The rumors are that he shot himself in the chest to preserve his brain and to show what the NFL has done to his brain. They are saying that with the study they will do on his brain it will save a lot of lives.Comment -

#83I agree with him...fuk u muldoonOriginally posted by muldoonYour opinion.
Big shock, the world all doesn't agree with one guy and his fat cat avatar.
Guy had a privileged life and when things got hard he chose to be selfish and end his own life. Unless you have no family or friends to speak of then suicide is a selfish decision.
Obviously if somebody is on their death bed due to cancer or something then it's a different story. Might even be easier on the family not having to see them suffer. But because your sad isn't a good enough reason

We don't know what was in his head. We don't even know if he was right in the head. We don't know if he lived in chronic pain, was battling depression, or had some incurable disease.
My point is that it's easy to sit back and call everyone who makes that massive decision a "pussy" - but until you're in their place, it's just one opinion.Comment -

#90Damn Wiki is FAST!
Tiaina Baul "Junior" Seau, Jr., (
/ˈseɪ.aʊ/; January 19, 1969 – May 2, 2012[1]) was an American football linebacker. A ten-time All-Pro and 12-time Pro Bowl selection, Seau was a member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team.
He played college football at the University of Southern California and was the progenitor of the "NFL-USC linebacker".[2] He was drafted fifth overall by the San Diego Chargers during the 1990 NFL Draft, later played for the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, and retired from pro football in 2010.
Seau was found dead in his Oceanside, California, home on May 2, 2012, of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.[3]Comment -

#93This is crazy! I got to see him in November when the Broncos played the Chargers. They were retiring his number that day with all of the great Chargers attending, and he made a emotional speech. He was with his teenage daughter, and he seemed like the happiest person in the world at the time. Very sad, that his self fish act to kill himself his going to leave several young kids behind.Comment -

Personally think its selfish of ppl to expect someone like Sau to continue living through the kind of pain that makes u want to kill yourself. Y do u want to see the guy continue to go through that level of pain?? That my friend is a truly selfish outlook...
Yeah he left behind relatives, family etc but they couldnt have cared too much to begin with given the guys history and the fact that apparently very little to nothing was done about it...
Its clear the guy took too many hits to the head and this in all probability altered the chemical make-up inside of his brain.Comment -
