Afforable Camera for videos?

Those who make vids..what kind of camera do you have?

I spent about $250, including a 4 gig card, on a Nikon Coolpix that does a good enough job for me. Not a video expert by all means, but depending on your budget, that seemed like a nice deal to me. Doesn't look exactly like this one, but close.

You can pick up a decent samsung for about $100 then spend another 30-50 on a memory card.

One word of advise...Dont get a memory card under 1 gig...

512mb usually equals about 5 mins of recording time
1 gig is about 11 mins.

I learned the hard way and had to buy both.


You can always just get a pc cam and record directly to your comp.

Yes, for the cheap solution just get a pic camera for around $130, those will work just fine for small videos. I saw some Nykon and Samsung at Best Buy in that price range.
