Huh? In a three way, if you bet your team to win, and they do anything but, you lose, same as if you give half a goal. They ARE identical, but the odds are not always. Here are a couple examples from 5Dimes:

    304 Argentinos Juniors (Arg) +½ +109 +370
    305 Atletico Lanus (Arg) -½ -139 -134
    306 - Draw +265

    307 CA Tigre (Arg) +½ -120 +289
    308 Newell's Old Boys (Arg) -½ -110 -105
    309 - Draw +244

In these examples, you would lay an extra nickel by laying a half goal as opposed to betting to win in a 3-way.

In a three-way, if you bet your team to win +1 and its a draw or they win, you win. If they lose by a goal it's a push, which if you were using two way you wouldnt get.

The example given show a bettor could take Newells Old boys minus a half goal at -110 OR could bet them to win in a 3-way at -105. Why would someone lay -110 when they could lay -105? If Newells Old Boys does anything but win, either bet loses.

You'd have to ask 5 Dimes or anyone stupid enough to play their soccer prices.

It's poker forum and book publishing company.

Now back to the OP good thing he hasn't seen over 2 and 2.5 lines yet. Then he'd be really confused.

Can I be your bookie? I can make things really simple for you.

It's really confusing with -110 this and -105 that - it literally makes my head explode! What I can do for you - and just you, please don't everyone else start PMing me - is to offer you over/under lines at -222 each side. See how easy to remember that is? You want to know what the line is - it's always -222! Have we got a deal?
