I hate to kick a guy when he's down, but knew this wouldn't end well when Smoke released a tirade and almost seemed to derive pleasure from the D. Rose injury. Bad karma and payback is a bitch, though.

Was at a deli in the city for lunch and overheard a conversation from the table behind me. It was Fat Tony and his 300# Black and gay enforcer/collector called the Black Stallion or Blackie. Blackie is feared by all hetrosexual gamblers in the city. Both of the fat bastards were talking with their mouths full, but I got the jist of the conversation.

They kept referring to a guy called Smoke. Fat Tony wasn't amused when he didn't get his money and was told that the last 6 bets were jinx bets. Something about he's heard that shit before and assume the position. Poor Smoke. You can flip flop on SBR , but not with Fat Tony. Blackie seemed real excited, but it's tough to tell if it was from the massive pastrami sandwhich he plowed down or the ass pounding he just dished out.
