Biden reveals the Obama agenda.
If you view last nights debate strictly on the terms of point-counterpoint arguments, then it might be hard to argue who really won. Some have said that the VP debate is really irrelevant to their ultimate decision, as the contest is between Obama and McCain.
Actually, the debate made a huge difference in highlighting the difference between the tickets.
Joe Biden outed the Obama ticket as a team of zealot, socialist, anticapitalists. His continual use of the F-bomb ( defending his policies because they are 'fair')and other comments indicate that he and Obama are interested in raising taxes on all Americans via taxing businesses and really could care less aboout the negative implications that this would have on 'joe six pack' or the middle class he and Obama pay so much lip service to. He continued to blame the current economic situation on a FAILED PHILOSOPHY OF FREEDOM AND LIBERTY that promoted deregulation, which of course could is NOT true.
Palin told the American people that the Obama ticket will make our freedoms and liberties a thing of the past, a story that we will have to tell our grandchildren about. Palin made it very clear that the days of looking to government to solve our problems in exchange for more taxes and less freedom need to end. Biden passionately defended his position that more taxes and less freedom posed a PATRIOTIC tradeoff!
He made it very clear that he was serious about carrying out Obamas economic policies, which are a package of the worst economic policies we've seen in the last 70 years. No matter how you view the Bush economy, the Obama ticket is no improvement with its Keynesian Depression Era policy agenda. How dare they talk about a failied philosophy and failed policies of the past.
He did this for all of us to hear and see.
