I don't follow the Cubs closely enough to see how Piniella's been doing in terms of his in-game decisions.. but after listening to him in the Fox broadcasts during the playoffs a couple years ago, I found it shocking that someone would hire him to be a manager again. Seemed pretty weird and really out of it.
