I heard there was some times when Cena was telling Lesnar to ease up. Lesnar cold cocked him with elbows in the first minute, and that's what caused the big gash in Cena's head. I see a lot of wrestler's not wanting to do a match with Lesnar because of the safety issue.

um no the gash was caused by a razor blade in lesnar's wrist pad, he rubbed it against cena's face on purpose.

Most times the refs slip in the razor blade to the wrestler.
The ref is the QB so to speak of the match, he's the one directing the other two wrestlers when they are in a clinch for instance.
Ref will say something like" when this clinch breaks, double arm bar to a suplex, or whatever.
