People claiming Cantor won't take a 1.8 million dollar bet from Floyd where he buys a half point are most likely mistaken.

I have no idea if he actually placed this bet, but from everything I have heard taking this type of bet is Cantor's whole thing, and Floyd buying a half of point is far from sharp as we all know. One of the employees straight up admitting in a press conference that they will take a million on most high profile events, I don't think it is that insane to think they will take 500k more risk on this type of bet.

WTF you talking about, I'm set for life, I got a 2BR condo in Fairfield County Ct, I make 70K as an I/T operations analyst, my job is backed by the AFL-CIO, most powerful union in the nation, my 401K is healthy, and when my parents pass, I'm looking at another 6 figures plus.

I don't know you, but Miss Cleo here says I'm doing a lot better than you.

That's not sad... that's fukkin hilarious. Guy makes more money in one fight than most will in their entire life and to squander it in such miserable fashion is nothing but pure entertainment, as far as Im concerned anyway.

oh nvm, it's SBR where everybody has access to my bank statements.

70k salary isn't set for life, kid. Neither is 6 figures. But keep telling yourself that.

When you factor in profit sharing, and considering I work for an insurance company here in Ct., and other perks, that 70K base salary doubles.

No, six figures isn't big time, but I'll lock up 200K of that inheritance long term that makes my life when I retire that much easier.

Yes, if Mayweather is smart, and not spend like a drunken sailor, and lock up long term at least half of what he makes today.

I know Pac-Man is set, look at Jeter, he's set too, a lot of pro athletes are smart like that, too bad a lot more are stupid.

Oh I'm sorry, did you expect me to be impressed with your 70k salary? You're the man, bro.

lol @ Pacman being better off than Floyd, though. Shows how much you talk out of your ass. Manny would go broke after his boxing career long before Floyd would. Anyone with a clue would know that. Like I said, you should worry about your own finances. Not Floyd's. Not Manny's. Not Jeter's...

i think the logistics are that they call the sportsbook manager and see if they will take the bet, no matter WHO you are. from my limited experience they might or might not want the action, depending on the bet, not the bettor.

Yes mike. Most books have increased limits for bigger players. Especially if they play big in tables and/or slots. Conversely they will limit and/or back off guys who they feel are not profitable. Managers at most books have limited authority and have to get approval from Diector or VP for bets of that size.

Conversely they will limit and/or back off guys who they feel are not profitable. Managers at most books have limited authority and have to get approval from Diector or VP for bets of that size.
