Celtics are going to beat Bulls? Watson/Lucas are not terrible. Bulls will still be the favorite in that series... probably -180 or so.

I think Boston is favored too much vs. ATL, yes Chicago will be favored against Boston but I like Boston to win.

um i think this is the only thread i've started like this. the bulls are more talented even without rose than last year's mavs? that's laughable. last year's mavs had future hall of famers jason kidd and dirk nowitzki, jason terry, tyson chandler (bulls should've never traded him), etc.

i also started a thread saying take the heat at +310 to win the championship. was that a bad idea since it's down to +155 now?

Picking? I have faith in them... won't be risking a dime on the Bulls though. I'm also not guaranteeing anything. Heat MIGHT win... but to act like they are a lock is silly... they are no better than last year and didn't win last year.

Rose was awful last year and 4 of those 5 games against the Heat were still winnable.

If Watson/Lucas shoot well and Deng/Korver/Boozer/Noah play to their abilities, no reason bulls can't beat Heat in a series. Almost everyone had a bad series last year.

3 years ago, even when the Bulls were awful and the Celtics were at their best, it still went to the wire.

Bulls are a terrible match up for Boston and that will be shown if Boston can even get by Atlanta.

I'm still excited for a Bulls/Heat series... I hope it still gets to that point. Watching John Lucas shoot lights out to knock out the Heat and Lebron would be one of the best NBA story lines I can think of... would be a perfect slap in the face to King James and would break up the Heat for sure.

don't understand why everyone is throwing out regular season records, esp. in this shortened nba season.
where a-lot of nba teams were just trying to get by into the regular season. The heats were fine with the 2 seed, they would rather rest their players, and not go out full force every game.
i think you can just throw out all the regular season records at this point. OKC vs Heat @ OKC. Heat cared very little, OKC want to win to proof they could play with the big teams.

same thing goes for chicago winning without rose. congrats they got through a regular season without him. almost impossible for them to get through a playoff series without him. Phillys got a dawn good defense, will be interesting to see the rest of this chicago series, and then then the boston series.
