i will show you the numbers for just the laa and bosox, he is not even close to as good as lackey, you are just going by public perception and media infulence

The Red Sox rotation: Lester (4.19 xFIP, 6.4 IP/GS), Matsuzaka (4.82, 5.8), Beckett (3.35, 6.5); the Angels three-man rotation (this is the "long series", spread over more days, therefore there can be three-man rotations without necessitating pitching on short rest) is Lackey (4.00, 6.8), Santana (3.64, 6.8), and Saunders (4.76, 6.4).

just take them next game at even money or whatever it is, then double up the game after that, if they lose those 2, take hammels for 8 units in game 5

there are great reasons why we are touting the lad, the distinct bullpen advantage gives them three areas where they exceed the cubs yet public perception is just the opposite. here are the bullpen numbers to back it up.

The Dodgers bullpen rates out at a superb 3.35 xFIP, thanks to a weighted average of Broxton (2.91), Saito (3.00), Park (3.96), Wade (4.07), Beimel (4.77). The Cubs bullpen, while excellent, falls short of the Dodgers standard at 3.68, based on Wood (3.12), Marmol (3.87), Howry (4.36), Cotts (3.56), Gaudin (4.30).

well, you can do that any time in gambling. You can be assured of winning something eventually. Bet once, if it loses, double up, etc.
