Had a buddy who offered me free tickets to go to Rays first ever playoff game today, then straight from there, head over to the USF football game afterwards.

I'm not sure if he is hitting on me, offering that to me for free...but either way, how old am I when I would rather watch the games "in the comfort of my own home rather than face the crowds"??

It's all downhill from here.

Bread ya know it used to be great to go to all these games if you had the chance...but now with HDTV and improved telecasts, whats the point? You get none of the hassles and a better experience (replays, commentary and no $10 beers!)

You should've gone to the games. Even for introverts a mass gathering is a positive energy event. I'd understand wanting to stay at home if the offer was from someone you weren't familiar with, but when it's your buddy inviting you, then you're stealing his generousity when you decline. It's not everyday someone invites you to the first-ever playoff game in a stadium (a dome no less, you pansy), and you should've seized the moment.

As for the eventual man-love at the end, I have two points. First, after going to playoff baseball and a BCS conference game, I think the date should put out at the end; it's not about gender, it's just fair. Second, a mouth is a mouth, right?
