Anyone heading to AC racetrack this weekend ?

Going down for the weekend. I'm thinking of going to check this dump out just for the hell of it since they only run one week a year.

Any locals got reviews of this track?

I see they only have turf racing. What's that about?

12 horse fields. coming from everywhere. only 6 races. they couldn't maintain the main track, probably weeds growing out of it by now. not user friendly place. bet top trainers with good percentages on grass.

i see the old heads at the otb (year after year) get all fired up about AC racing....
noticed some bombs there last year in the first day or 2. kind of like hoosier to the sbred guy. bet the LS early and make cake.

Better off saving a few more bucks and going to Vegas for 5 days

AC is awful with very little to offer as you got guys like Louisville Kid and Sweep that look like fukkin killers waiting to jump you

AC Racetrack has sentimental value for me. Maybe go by one of the days. I went a few days last year. Maybe go to the Opening Day today.

Went today. Dump is an understatement. Horrendous. Parking lot is a mess too.
Cant see the horses outside. Looks like you're in the twilight zone!!
I thought my track, Parx was bad. Parx looks like the Taj Mahal now!!

It has great history as I was there in the 70s. It's a hazard as you can trip and get hurt at many places. I dont mean to rag it but I know they havent put a penny into it in many years. They need to make up their mind either to rebuild it or knock it down.

You're right harthebar, the turf is great but there's not much more to offer.

AC is what it is. It's an antique racecourse. I guess there not going to put money into it since they built Parx.
