My family doesn't really come from money. My dad and my mom were both dirt poor growing up. They made something out of nothing. That is why I have little sympathy for the poor. Hard work can get ANYONE out of poverty.

My family is rich. But I also have made my own money. They've certainly helped me out. And no 24 year old should have a wife and kids... So yeah, I can throw the money around and not be risking my financial well being. If I only had $5,000 to my name, I wouldn't be throwing around $5,000 bets. Hopefully no one would.

if you only have $5000 that's even more reason to risk it all. not much to lose anyway. if you have $1,000,000 it's kind of silly to bet $5,000/game - the juice is going to get you in the long run and you aren't going to make your life any better by winning (you can already pretty much buy whatever you want).

but the guy with only $5k can make one nice bet and end up getting a $10k car, or some extra walking around money
