What actions can I take to get my local to pay up. He has always paid before and always called back immediately but I got on a hot streak and he won't return my calls now. I only know one other guy that plays with him that told me about this guy and I am having trouble reaching him also. I have always paid immediately whenever I was down and he had always paid immediately also until this.

They owe me $10k. They have an online website where people place the bets and I can still login and see my $10k balance but I am not placing anymore wagers until I get paid. I think he mentioned the website was based out of Costa Rica. I also recall when I initially started playing there that the agent said he gets 25% of player loses and must pay 25% of player wins. So I guess the Costa Rican book takes the other 75%. So I am trying to understand how this really works if anyone knows. If the agent's share is only 25% then it seems the book would pay him $7500 of my winnings and the agent would have to pay me $2500. So if the agent stiffs me does he just keep the $7500 from the book? Also, how do I know if it was the agent that is trying to stiff me or if it is the costa rican book that told him they wont pay?Comment -

I don't know how to find the guy. I always met up with him for payouts at two different sports bars so I guess I could go there and try to find the guy.
I don't know what works best in this situation so I would appreciate it if someone else was ever in this situation and knows what might work.
I guess I could ask all the guys at the sports bar if they know him and tell them he has not paid me so they should find a new local. Or maybe I could call the sports bars and talk to the management and say they have a guy that is making book at their bar and tell the sports bar that I will call the police and file a report that their sports bar is being used for sports betting unless they have the guy pay me. I have no idea what works best with these guys so any help would be appreciated.

the agents usually just make a commission from losses if there is no makeup, but he could have another deal arranged where he pays winners as well. Most likely you were using a pay per head site i suggest you call them and let them know about not getting paid by one of their agents. Im sure theres a phone number where you can call in bets as well as the pay per head site you were using so try that that way you can at least find out whats going on.Comment -
Thanks. There is no phone number listed on the betting website but I did find the bet call in number they gave me 6 months ago when I started playing with the local. I called the number and they said they are pay per head and that they just provide the website service and have nothing to do with payouts and I need to call my agent. I explained that my agent will not pay me or call me back and asked for any additional agent contact information but they would not provide anything. They said they would put a note in the account for the agent to call me back so the agent will get this message next time he calls in. Any other actions I can take. Can I threaten to have a hacker create a dos attack on the betting website to take the site down if the agent does not get back to me and pay me.Comment -

youre in a tough spot pal. if you find him and kick his ass, they will just retaliate and escalate everything. no sense putting your family in harm from a thug. cant really call the police because then you are incriminating yourself. just keep trying to get a hold of him. call him 40 times a day if need be. let him know you need to be paid without threatening him. sure hope you get your cash.Comment
